The article was very informative. It reminded me of one of my favorite JFK quotes: "We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people."

Sadly, all too often, it would seem that the government is afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, etc. I guess an informed citizenry is a scary thing for the powers that be.
