Hey Kent... Yes, both were written prior to Dave's mysterious disappearance. "Sirens In The City" was my first failed attempt at writing the Triage-style "false first person" kind of tune. In the case of "Sirens", I was trying to channel the ramblings of Bernhard Goetz, the famed subway guy with the pistol and the line of jive. Nobody figured it out, though. Ahh, well. It's not easy to be pretentious and oblique.
