The draft is all too real - they have two plans drawn up - first a 'special needs' draft for skilled (Physics, Engineering, Communications, etc.) that they will implement first - then the general draft. Though I'm not Particularly happy about it (my nephew has a Physics Degree) if there are no deferments, it could focus this country on the war and it's issues like never before.
