I just watched Meet the Press and they had a few of the commission members on there, one Dem and one Repub. I have to say that after watching this I hope that these 2 gentleman have alot of power in this commission. They were both very thoughtful and even.
One great point that was made ( By the Democrat of all people) was that many of the things that the press is playing up as "inconsistencies" are really situations in which each person involved has a subjective view of what happened, and that they are not really inconsistent at all on a factual basis.
If this is how they intend to continue then I feel alot better about this not turning into a partisan witch hunt. They both seemed to have a genuine desire to see what happened and move forward from there.
BTW, we have a "blog" set up on our website. Stop by and tell me how wrong I am if you feel so inclined :) Working on getting a lefty that can post as well so we have both sides running in the blog.
