GA,It simply is not true that anyone or group with influence complained about our invasion of Afghanistan.
Whether it will matter or not, I read over fifty publications on a regular basis including The Progressive, The Nation, The American Prospect, In These Times and Mother Jones, and not one of these publications has stated we had no business invading Afghanistan. However, several of these have expressed concern over the deaths of citizens, and I think this is a fair discussion. Here is something else to think of....we have lost over 100 troops in Afghanistan. Contrasted to Iraq, there has been very, very little coverage of that and I think that is because most Americans believe in this fork of the Bush action.Now the tone of these debates is how we should be throwing things out there, .hopefully it will continue.
