blo·vi·ate
intr.v. Slang blo·vi·at·ed, blo·vi·at·ing, blo·vi·ates To discourse at length in a pompous or boastful
manner: “the rural Babbitt who bloviates about
‘progress’ and ‘growth’” (George Rebeck). Bloviating Bill dazzles again with his mirrored
shades. Virtually every statement on his list is
either an outright lie, a maguffin, or laughably
spun. I particularly loved in his list of the
negatives "The Iragi people are'nt cooperating
fully yet."
What a master of understatement!
No spin zone indeed. Hey Reg--- how about a little essay on this
pseudo-pundit: his treatment of fact, and his
appeal? A careful, referenced fisking of the list
that Bruce has posted could be just what the
doctor ordered.
