Thanks Reg...like Kenny...don't have that one though.  As far as more contemporary guitarists on the Jazz scene...you might like Adam Rogers.  I got to hear him when he played with this amazing fusion group, Lost Tribe..(they are re-uniting after a several year hiatus).  Their first two CD's are out of print..but can be obtained from Djangos and the like.  Adam has, I think 2 solo CD's..on Crisscross Jazz label.  He is the only jazz guy I have ever heard play slide...and he can do the straight up be bop thing or burn Hendrix style, classical nylon etc..Now that being said...(see my previous post..) .."Pat Metheny...still the king".
