I'm sitting her watching the first dvd of Queen's Greatest Hits. I grew up a huge fan of Queen and have always loved Freddie Mercury. But like when I think of Elvis, I always wonder why the hell can't people like these take better care of themselves? Don't they know the tremendous talent that they have? And then you take David Crosby. I remember the articles back in the 80's in Spin magazine about his drug and alcohol abuse. One article was titled similar to as if he were dead and was about all the intervention people were taking to try and help him out.

I guess it is selfish of fans to want them to take better care of themselves so they can keep creating their art, but it is so heartbreaking to see these people piss all of this away.

The reason I threw gangsters in there is because of how unbelievable it is when you come across these young gangbangers who have been all shot up and continue to stay in the game only to get shot up again. I know if someone shot me in the ass a few times I'd be making some changes. The same as if someone donated a liver.
