Doctors at George Washington University Hospital said this morning that Attorney General John Ashcroft remains in the Intensive Care Unit and is resting comfortably.
The physicians stated that the AG's pancreatitis was most likely the result of an abnormally excessive amount of bile retained in his system. "We've never seen anything like it", said one of the physicians. "This man is so full of bile it's a wonder he didn't implode years ago."
Physical examination of Mr. Ashcroft also revealed a hyper-reflexive knee jerk reaction, a low tolerance level, severe and advanced narrowing of the mind, and an abnormally tight anal sphincter.
