Well Gene...Edwards is out...Kerry is officially our man. I had heard Edwards may withdraw today but thought he'd stay in until March 9th (my birthday by the way). They are saying he may have withdrawn to become Kerry's running mate...but I don't think that's a lock. Kerry is on record saying he'll choose a Southerner...Edwards would fit the bill for me...there's talk Gephardt has lobbied real hard for the job...but I hope it's not him as I'm not real big on Gephardt. We'll see I guess.

I think it's sort of sad that one of the big worries on the Democrat side with Kerry and Edwards is that they will run a campaign that is too clean...while the Bush people are going to be as dirty as possible...thank you Karl Rove...Democrats seem to want these guys to play dirty even though it's not their way. I really don't want to see that.
