To start with, my least favorite has to be "Brand New Morning," a song which Rolling Stone magazine called the best from Triage. What the hell was that all about, anyway? Does that tune just seem to sit there for anybody else?

My current favorite: "Nothing's Gonna Bring Me Down"

A tune I would've liked to hear John Lennon record. "Good times come, then they pass..." David at the top of his game, after all he's been through, and I don't even pretend to know... I love this song, I love its knowingly fatalistic optimism, its satire, its irreverence, its jazzy Van Morrisony lighthearted funkadelic cynical indifference. I love its sense of good humor, man. What a fuckin' song. Any others come to mind, gentle folk?
