"I think it was asked do I love Bush or do I dislike the alternative and I defintely say I would dislike the alternative."
Yeah, I wasn't so much asking but it was what I suspected. What I had said was:
"I certainly think there is a general dislike of the current administration on this board and I have often wondered if guys like Kevin G, Pat, or GA really like this administration and their decisions or if they just would prefer to stick with a guy that claims to be a Rebublican (he doesn't act like one) rather than allowing a Democrat to get the seat in the big house."
I don't think any of you guys are blind or deaf to the giant mistakes Bush and company have been making but I think you do take a different view of them than those that lean left. I think reading things that you guys wrote and what you've said...everybody has at one point in time or the other has been critical of Bush and company...including those that lean to the right. Nobody, left or right defends Bush's dishonesty...I think we've come to an agreement that Bush is a dishonest guy. As GA says though...seems that comes with the job description of being a politicain.
So, I guess the question then becomes, if it's not the lies, is it the size of the lie that matters?
How do you weight your judgement of the lie?
What would cause you not to vote for Bush?
I know you don't love Bush...same as I don't love Kerry. This isn't all about love or hate...it's about making better decisions really.
Those would be my real questions.
