For as long as I have been aware --- the inverted pentagram (or pentacle) has always been associated with SATANISM.

I have been seeing INVERTED PENTAGRAMS in television commercials --- as in a star-filled sky in a car commercial, an E! Channel promotion for the Golden Globes, the Grammy Pentagram, and others.

I am at a loss as to what this could mean other than what I believe it means --- the explanation of this symbolism matches perfectly its' context usage in the real world.
