Thanks for the kind words --- I have been doing a lot of thinking about the reasons why DB's TRIAGE may have pissed off the higher-ups at A & M RECORDS upon the occasion of its' release. What I have concluded is that it was a slap in the face of the lies and despotic tyranny that have been thrust upon us without our desire or consent.

This journey for me started with the release of HCTNFU and its' subsequent flame-out. I didn't think that was especially fair --- seeing as there continue to be artists in the marketplace who are doing things similar to what David has done.

I posted the short essay WHY DB GETS NO RESPECT FROM THE LABEL a few weeks after LOST HIGHWAY dropped David from the label. Even though this was bold in its' level of truth-telling --- I felt that it correctly placed the issues into context with events that were desperate in not wanting to have another musical repeat of the 1960's.

The music industry is heavily censored --- and the music is suffering greatly in the face of this censorship. Look what happened to the DIXIE CHICKS --- all they were doing was exercising their "supposed" rights of FREE SPEECH. Other artists who have voiced their opinions --- such as PEARL JAM --- have been marginalized in the face of this oppression.

In December 2002 and again in July 2003 --- I had the immense pleasure of seeing two PETER GABRIEL concerts from his most recent GROWING UP world tour. In both of those shows --- Mr. Gabriel spoke out against the tyranny emanating from DC --- and in doing so he eloquently raised the bar for intelligent dissent. I wished that there were more people like PG --- who not only speaks out --- but puts his money where his mouth is --- and in doing so --- donates a sizable amount of his time and money to the furtherance of peace across the world.

Of course --- POPULATION CONTROL should be a big concern to us all --- as it is at the center of the AIDS issue and quite a few others --- where people are needlessly dying just because of the contempt directed their way by the politicians who are supposed to be serviing the needs of the people --- and NOT the other way around.

I have the DAVID BAERWALD TRIAGE CONSTITUTIONAL STUDY MODULE all outlined and I will continue to put it together until it is complete. My hope is that it will help people to understand the depth of the issues presented on that album --- and also the depth of David's love for humanity and his hope for the future.
