In the player right now:

Scott Miller and The Commonwealth - Thus Always To Tyrannts.  I picked this one up after I discovered that a friend's son was playing lead guitar for the live tour of this album.  I don't think he's on the CD itself though.  Also, Blockdog gave this band a hearty endorsement.  He was right too.  It's an excellent CD.

Townes Van Zandt - Rear View Mirror.  I have several Townes albums, but I didn't get this one until recently for some reason.  I have to agree with Steve Earle in that this guy is possibly the best songwriter of our generation.  This is a wonderful CD. I do miss the man.

The Flatlanders - Now Again  Joe Ely, Butch Hancock and Jimmie Dale Gilmore reunited...nuff said.

Big Head Todd and The Monsters - Strategem I just happen to be a big fan of this band.  This CD has been around for a while, but for some reason, I never get tired of it.

Guy Clark - Cold Dog Soup another awesome songwriter.  It's not possible to have too much of his stuff in the rack.

Terry Allen - Lubbock on Everything I've been listening to this one again lately just because his name has come up here recently.  This is a fun CD, especially if you're fond of Texas style songwriting.  Man, Bukka must have had a great childhood.
