Just got back from a soul-cleansing, beautiful ski on the C and O canal, after our recent powdering from Mother Nature.   Sunset was exquisite, and then I did the last few miles by moonlight.   Cross-Country skiing is a meditative activity by nature, but the evening, and snow conditions were perfect.  Dan...I thought of you, in particular.  You would have reveled in it.

All the stars were out...hello, Orion my friend, Aldebaran, Betelguese...Sirus...etc..and just about 1/4 moon...but very  generous with his light.

Why oh why did I think of this nation on this eve?  Hmm...well, I thought John Kerry can and will become President.  Any guy that can play hockey, speak French, and who is a Vietnam Vet...can rise to whatever slime is thrown his way.  And he will, mark my words.   He knows what fire-fights are REALLY like, so Bush/Rove better not go too close with the National Security platform.   I truly  believe the guy wants the best for the nation..and he will prevail if he is supported.   I know it is a tad premature, but I for one, support him all the way. 

Easter Island...sheeit I'd love to go there one day.
