THE WALL ROCK OPERA: Roger Waters has, in the past, hinted at wanting to do a stage version of Pink Floyd's The Wall, perhaps with more laughs. The Midwest Rock Opera Company, MiROC, couldn't wait any longer and has announced a stage adaptation of the piece.

"The Wall" will be performed at the new theatre home to MiROC, the Scottish Rite Center located in downtown Milwaukee, WI, USA, between January 23 and February 1, 2004.

The show features nationally-recognized performers such as Scott Lucas, from the band Local H. Xeno, whose previous band credits include Cheap Trick and Bad Boy, lends his musical talents for the first three shows. MiROC's stage adaptation includes choreography and dance by The Milwaukee Ballet, as well as MiROC's own HipHop Dance Troupe. MiROC's ensemble heavily encourages audience participation. The family-friendly show is a unique musical experience that marries contemporary rock styles with dance, design, and drama.
