First Roger, I'd be interested in hearing what you think of this book as well if you read it.

On the religion thing, I don't really have an issue with Bush being a man of faith. I have read that Karl Rove had a lot to do with pushing the idea that they bring the religious right back to the table. So at times I've questioned how deep Bush goes with his convictions but further reading seems to indicate this really is an important aspect of his life. Which is fine. I really think that's a personal issue for him and I don't really think it's something that's indicative of his character...even though both sides seem to like to use it as such.

Really I think you just have to judge him on how you feel the decisions of his administration have had an impact on us. This is where we end up with a difference in opinion...which is where Dale is right but we shouldn't give him any credit for that the bastard...we are all sort of looking at the same things and we bring our own bias to the table...which is why these arguments should never be taken as a personal attack...I look at it as just trying to show where it is we are coming from and sure sometimes we're amazed or shocked that others don't see it the same way we do...just a thought...

Anyway...Dale you're still wrong...because I said so!
