I submitted a note to the bug site at Apple but don't hope for a quick fix from them. In the meantime, I'm doing some searching and testing to see if I can come up with something we can use. There are some pretty complicated solutions to various similar Safari problems but I want somthing simple.

Note that Safari is still in the beta stage so some flaws like this are to be expected.
