Former Giraffe legends Scott Smith and Chris Beverdige have teamed up with friends Cal Ball and Baxter Robertson to form a new band called The Sofa Lords.  Their music will be compared to early CSN and the Eagles, with perhaps a smattering of Steely Dan, but with a clean, modern sound.

Their debut, self-titled CD has just been released, and there's a CD listening party this Sunday on The Dividing Line.  The band will be on the air live via phone as well as in chat.  The regular show (ProgRoots) begins at 7pm Pacific, with the Sofa Lords feature starting at about 8pm.
