BlockDog:What PRH and I are referring to is a trade whereupon he sends me
some blank CD-R's and I send him back a JIMI HENDRIX live set
called BOX OF GYPSYS --- this is all four of the BAND OF GYPSYS
shows from New Year's Eve '69 and New Years Day '70 plus the
unfinished Madison Square Garden show from January 28, 1970.This was part of an ongoing conversation that we have been
having as of late.Of course I am NOT referring to the PG Growing Up Box Set ---
PRH already said that he has the DVD of this tour --- why would
he want or need audio CD's of something he already has? The
DVD is essentially the same show as what is on the CD's.Sorry if that was unclear --- but I have been burning the candle
from both ends lately --- and instead of sending two seperate
messages --- I combined two into one --- to save time that I
don't have enough of right now.The PG Growing Up Box Set was sold with the understanding that
the resulting shows are NOT traded or sold after the fact. Besides,
to do that dilutes the value of this highly collectable piece of
musical history.I have also done this with David Baerwald's music --- which was
why when HCTNFU was released in July 2002 --- I bought 27
copies of that disc to give to everyone I know. And also why I
have probably bought 50 copies of BOOMTOWN over the years to
give to various people. My intent was to get the man a few new
fans.KDB = Buffalo, NY USA
