Perhaps the thing that I am most enjoying are the new compact discs that come with a bonus DVD. Bands like the FOO FIGHTERS , and STEELY DAN have done releases like this. The new NEIL YOUNG GREENDALE CD comes with a wonderful two hour live DVD --- sweet, very sweet.

This Tuesday, the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are releasing their second hits package. Specially marked packages will have a bonus DVD featuring all fifteen of their music videos will be included. It would be worth it just for that alone.

Even though it is not a CD/DVD combo --- the forthcoming CD The BEATLES LET IT BE ... NAKED will be released with a second disc of outtakes.

Also on the DVD front . . .

Eight of the nine seasons of THE X-FILES are now out, as are both seasons of DARK ANGEL.

However, for an EXCELLENT DVD if you love JAM BANDS --- please pick up the OZRIC TENTACLES LIVE AT THE PONGMASTER'S BALL. This is a great DVD, and a great band besides.

Plus, some of your favorite classic rock albums are now being remixed into 5.1 SURROUND --- including DARK SIDE OF THE MOON.
