So I have some questions about this AI thing

Beato says "they" are getting paid. Who is the they? Is that the "prompters?"
Is that what you call someone that enters the suggestion via keyboard to the AI asking it to create something? I mean I assume the people collecting the money for this would be whomever asked AI to create it. I assume those songs now belong to whoever got AI to spit them out. Which is fine, I guess, but I don't know. That stuff has that uncanny valley thing all over it. It sounds dead to my ears.
Yes, you can have AI create a David Baerwald song, or entire album. I've heard some tracks where someone asked AI to create a "new" Led Zeppelin song. To my ears it was not very good.
And listening to Beato take apart the Velvet Sundown (which kind of sounds like a band name they would make up for a sitcom) the drum track seems to be the basic beat you get if you just press the button on a drum machine or on your Casio keyboard. Hilariously he plays that after isolating John Bonham.
The guitar track was a mess, and the whole thing sounds...well...oddly boring. There just is no life to it. Is that what others hear or is it me?
