Movies are like music to me—only a few selections truly speak to me, but when they do, they embed deeply. The Rapture was one of them. I also saw it in the theater (twice, actually—not sure what that says about me), and just last week, I recommended the film to a client who left a religious cult in her young adulthood. It’s a flawed but captivating movie that doesn't pull it's punches.
I’ve read quite a bit about Come and See, Reg, but I find that my circuitry just doesn’t handle disturbing war violence well, so I have to choose carefully. From everything I’ve read, you’re definitely not overselling it—and I do need to see it. I’ll just need to have a preparatory briefing with my vagus nerve first.
