Well, everything in his past indicates he has always had issues with people of color no matter what their background. Sadly, this is exactly what attracts some MAGA people to him.
Basically, with his "deportation" madness he is discovering the same thing that Elon discovered with DOGE. When you try to do something that you have just invented, have no plan for, you just plunge forward claiming these massive numbers you have ZERO evidence for and have done no research on what the impact of your moves will be, well, you will create disasters. Then those disasters have to be repaired.
There was not 2 trillion to cut from the budget, there was not 1 trillion. There was not even close to a trillion to cut. I mean, this is why they had to go directly to cutting programs that worked, programs people did not want cut, programs that would harm people, the country, the world.
Trump initially said he wanted to deport 20 million people. Then he cut it to 10 million. Now he is discovering he will have a problem just deporting 1 million. We are just months into his term and already he is pondering, because his own supporters are screaming it at him, business leaders are screaming it at him, farmers are screaming it at him, he has to stop deporting migrants that are not criminals.
The thing is, the numbers say that there could possibly be 600,000 or less people that have come here with a crime in their background. Not all "violent" crimes, we are just talking any kind of crime. So, really his max number he should be looking to deport should not be more than 600,000. That's it. Now, he can shut the border down, he can turn away millions over his term if he puts his mind to it but he is never going to deport 10 million. He will never deport 5 or even 4 million.
He has never in his first term or in this one come close to Obama's numbers on deportation. He deported more people than any other president. This is what bothers Trump. Obama set all the presidential deportation records, he can't get close to them even with his ICE raids and gestapo tactics. This is freaking him and Miller out. They are desperate to try to get near Obama's numbers so they can say their administration deported more people than Obama. So far, no dice.
Well, to even try to do what Trump claims he wants to do, he would have needed to plan for years. He would have needed to get cooperation from a bunch of countries, he would need to spend a lot of money, add additional manpower, and should have coordinated and looked at what the process would do to our economy.
They did none of that. Musk and DOGE never actually looked at how and where to cut. They just did it all off the cuff and following Elon's whims. THERE WERE NEVER ANY PLANS, not for mass deportations, not for budget cutting.
And guess what, Trump openly admitted there is no plan on what to do about Iran. He literally said it will be a last second decision, he will make. He is not listening to any advisors, he is not listening to any strategists. Nobody. It will just be done on a whim. He is not even going to attempt to justify it with any evidence. I mean, Dubya's team at least made up a bunch of shit. Trump is not even going to bother. He's not presenting anything to other countries to get them to help, to get them to contribute...because with Trump, he has no allies. Nothing.
If he bombs Iran, it will be because he wanted to. No other countries saying they back us, except Israel and Bibi has lied about Iran for decades.
This will be worse than Iraq because with Iraq we built a coalition. We involved NATO. Sure, we lied and made shit up to do it, but at least there was at least the pretending we had a reason. Now, it will be nothing more than "Well, Trump wanted to bomb Iran."
He will break it, and when he does, he owns it. There is nobody backing him except Bibi. All 18 of our intelligence networks told him Iran has no bomb, are not close to one, and are not pursuing one. His DNI briefed Congress on it. There is no threat. All there is, is Bibi trying to take this as far as he can on the Hamas attack. Bibi is a proven and well known liar...but so is our Donny.
THERE IS NO PLAN! There is no proof of a threat. We are riding the whims of a couple of known liars and idiots.
