I've been thinking about that, Reg.  I'll say this about Trump; with all his venal and soulless behavior, immigration does seem to be the one thing he cares about.  He's always had this visceral thing about "infestation" that seems to reside in the limbic system of extreme right wingnuts.  It's coupled with an extreme lack of self-awareness about what's guiding this behavior, of course.
