There's so much coming at us, by design of course! Choose your metaphor: the firehose of disinformation, the flooding the zone with shit, the muzzle velocity PR campaign, it would be easier to mount a counterattack if there were just a few atrocities, but it's everywhere, all the time, from the ridiculous to the truly monstrous! 

I'm stuck by a few things: the rapid accumulation of wealth by Trump, and the present and future body counts that are and will be directly connected with his actions.

 The meme coin scheme is beyond comprehension, and he's raking in hundreds of millions of dollars from it and crypto investments. Trump University, Trump steaks, Trump casinos were nickel and dime stuff! I've heard one estimate that Trump's net worth may have risen by as much as $3 billion in the first hundred days! Does this get reported in Trumpistan? Do they care if it does?

And the deaths that have already resulted from the shutting down of vaccines and food aid, with surely hundreds of thousands more abroad. And if medicaid is slashed here, if millions lose healthcare coverage, how many additional deaths will result? All in the service of his goddamn tax cut to his wealthy donors and greedy fanbase. Lastly, and this may be most lethally consequential of all, consider all the medical research that is no longer being funded at our universities. Try to fathom all the needless deaths and suffering that will result because the research was defunded. This is beyond comprehension! 

I'm largely silent because I'm dumbfounded, feeling quite powerless, and observing so little spine by the GOP, and the Democrats searching for what exactly?
