Icon Seriously? This is like some sort of weird joke!

So, I titled a post "Readership is up" and it sets the all-time record for number of people that have read something I wrote here?

That's not even an interesting title. I get that people are reading David's posts, I get that the posts containing conflict between David and someone else might have a sort of "reality show" curiosity and so they get more reads, but WTF is going on that a post about a few more people reading things here gets nearly 17,000 views?

How did that happen? I do give sort of an update on David, I typed his name in the post could that be the cause?

I see a few posts here suddenly got over 11,000 views. I don't get it. There are no other people commenting here. Nobody other than the same few of us are saying anything. I mean, I get it, we are not that interesting but I don't think I have ever had nearly 17,000 people read something I said here.

I can only think because I wrote what seemed to be an update on David it sparked the interest of almost 17,000 people. How did they find it though? And if almost 17,000 people read it, no response at all? No, questions, no comments, no nothing. What is going on?

I was thinking of writing about Russian space junk falling out of the sky or Malaysian ghost cities, which would probably get 10 views, but a post about readership and that David still owns a guitar and wrote a novel...which I don't think were secrets...that caused 17,000 people to check in?
