David did not ask anybody to remove themselves, except for Pat. But in fairness to that request, David was not the only one asking Pat to remove himself. Pat was not a fair dealer and took to rarely answering a question. When that is happening, it is not a conversation.
I think it is good that people argue, it is good that it can get heated, it means that the conversation means something to the people having it.
It should not collapse into just personal insults because that does not go anywhere nor enlighten anyone.
I think in a time where we are totally swamped with lies, disinformation, misinformation, propaganda, yes, the search for clarity and understanding can become overheated. As I recall, David kept asking in the cases where there was disagreement for clarification.
So, no, I did not think it was at all a bully thing.
