Both said "This was his strategy all along." and "Went exactly as planned."
Now, you could think, well that's to cover-up for how idiotic the whole thing was, but it is not idiotic if the "plan" was market manipulation for personal profit.
Makes sense, if the plan was "testing the lever" to see if he, and whomever he wanted to bring in on it, could make a boatload of cash crashing, then causing a surge in the markets. If you are doing it just to enrich yourself and your pals not so dumb...cruel and awful for the rest of the world but when did these guys ever care about anybody else?
