I am a huge Hackman fan. Great actor. Check out Night Moves and Scarecrow if you have not seen them.
The news has been depressing, which is why I have not said much. I was sad about how Hackman and his wife died.
It reminded me of the saying that you only own two things in life, your first breath, and your last breath. Everything in between is just a gift with an expiration date.
Much of the time now, I am trying to figure out what to say because I don't want to say the darker things that pop into my head. Just not sure those things are helpful.
Also, I like everybody else here was sad that David left. I appreciated hearing his thoughts. You feel less alone in things knowing someone else feels like you.
Good to see another name from the past reappear here though.
