Today was the heartbreaking, vile, utterly disgusting announcement to the world, we are done with you. We are no longer an ally. I mean they have certainly let this idea slip out there, but today they screamed it at a man that was our ally, whose country was brutally attacked, is continuing to be brutally attacked (Putin has been setting records with his drone strikes), and they could not have gone further to insult and humiliate the man had they dropped their trousers and defecated on him in front of the cameras.
This was a set-up, a planned attack, staged for one person...Putin. It was historic, because with that horrific display, the United States declared we are now openly, proudly, an enemy of democracy, Europe, Ukraine quite obviously, and pretty much all that is good and decent in the world.
It was 1000% intentional and it was meant to tell Putin, this administration stands with him...totally and completely. That is going to be played on state run media in Russia over and over and over again in perpetuity. That is the purest, most sexy, most pornographic gift Trump and Vance could have given Vladimir.
What Vance did in Munich, was pretty much an announcement of where they stood, and his meeting and endorsement of the new Nazi AfD party (which Trump and Musk endorsed as well) was just hideous...but today, today was different...because they screamed it at the top of their lungs, and made sure to set the event up on TV so it could be played over and over again worldwide.
That moron Trump even said out loud (because I am certain it was said to him before they did it) this is "gonna make great TV."
That guy that I saw saying Americans should cancel all overseas travel was not kidding. We are now seen as one of the worst nations on the planet, and we can't be trusted. We will, on live TV, knife an ally in the back and smear shit on him. Kick him as he lays bleeding on the ground. Our reputation, our standing in the world was incinerated.
We are now, without a doubt, the bad guys.

Not much could make me say I am glad my dad is dead, but today's abomination made me say it to myself in the car. He served in the Navy, loved this country, had he seen that, his TV would not have survived the day.

As Zelensky left the White House the funding we were providing to rebuild the Ukrainian power grid was cut off. Zelensky, a man that has lost thousands of his fellow citizens in a brutal attack, stood by them, fought for them, got in a car, thrown out of the building, and headed for his hotel...the future of his nation in doubt. This man had agreed to resign as president if that was what it took to get a lasting peace agreement for his country.
