Honestly, I'm often left baffled by these people. Many of the moves they make seem so incredibly stupid, just so jaw-droppingly idiotic, that you wonder how they can get through their day without injuring themselves.
I know people speculate about the relationship between Donald and Elon but I expect it is pretty simple. Basically, everything they do together is like a children's playdate. They say weird and asinine things to each other, get somewhat excited by them, then go their separate ways. Sure, the problem with the weird and asinine things these guys say to each other is that they could harm or kill millions of people in a very short period of time, and there are some people that overhear their conversations and think they are amazing, sort like an overly proud parent that wants to show you all their kid's finger paintings because they think they are the next Van Gogh. But then there are people that hear what they are saying and laugh...because it is so hilariously ridiculous and the two kids take themselves so seriously.
Obviously, looking at the interviews they do together, Elon is the boss, Don defers to him. Elon believes he has purchased the government and country for his $250 million, and Don thinks Elon is smart. He has a cool accent, uses words Donald has never heard before but they sound good, and he really loves Nazis. So, he's got to be a cool dude to hang out with. Plus he's got all that money and bought Donny his desk in the oval office...which Elon has his kid use as a place to store his boogers for later.
OK, here is my question, is this Elon thing just a bad joke?
So, he makes up an email address [email protected] or something and starts bombarding/spamming government employees with emails telling them to write 5 things they did last week and send that back and if they don't respond that is considered their resignation. So, respond or you're fired.
Why would any government employee write a response to a made-up email that definitely is not coming from someone in the government? Seeing an invented email address like that is a good reason to just not open it and hit the delete button. It is obvious that is not an email from their boss or from any government email address so has nothing to do with you or your job. DELETE!
Next, we have been told that Elon does not work for the government, does not run DOGE, is not a DOGE employee, has nothing to do with DOGE...which is also not a government agency and has no authority to fire anybody and is also just an invention. We're told, in legal filings, Elon has no authority at all. He's just an advisor to Trump.
Unless you are Trump, because he says Elon works for and runs DOGE...this made up...um...advisory group? So, Trump contradicts the legal filings.
Next the people that Donald has appointed, Kash, Tulsi, and that clown show, told the government workers that work in their departments to ignore emails from Elon and so the people that got these suspicious Elon HR emails were directly told by their bosses not to respond to them. Some told them that it would be illegal to respond or give any info to Elon...which frankly seems common sense.
Then the official White House response to Elon's HR email was that it was not required that anybody had to respond to it, it was more of a suggestion that people were free to ignore...weird because the email specifically said if you ignore it that was your resignation.
So, Elon has no government job, no authority to fire anybody, does not work for DOGE, has no authority over anyone in government and yet he is spamming government employees with junk emails from a made-up HR address that is no way related to any government HR department. Isn't that called fraud among other things?
Why would anybody pay any attention to the stupid crap this guy is trying to pull? Nobody answers to this nut and he has no authority to ask anybody anything.
How is this kind of absolute rubbish not just getting laughed at?
