There is no rational or logical way to defend this and so I would expect no defense from anybody. I don't know when the last time we heard from Dale was but I think it was before Trump was elected the first time in 2016. I always hold out hope that Dale would not support Trump.
Pat and Marc, yeah, they are into the guy but I've never read any kind of defense of him from them. In general there is this giant rationalization from Trump supporters that they "support conservative policy" and so it is not so much the man they support it is the policy.
Problem there is, Trump and the people he has surrounded himself with are not conservatives and they are not trying to put into place any kind of conservative policy. They mostly are trying to find ways to give $4.5 trillion to the wealthiest people in the country and there is no place to take that money from except from all the people that are not wealthy. So, every penny that goes into funding something for the public, whether it is social security, Medicaid, public schools, public lands, libraries, anything at all, if it is not going to the wealthiest 1%...gotta be cut.
So, how do you sell the idea to people that we've got to give handouts to the wealthy, people that have seen their worth grow over a short period by 600% by taking anything that is for or helps you away and giving those funds to them? How do you get people to agree to that?
Well, it takes a lot of lies and finding ways to make people hate other people so that they think what is really happening is, they are taking things away from people they hate.
Compassion, sha, la, la.
They don't care if women die because they desperately need an abortion but can't get one in their state. They don't care about taking food away from starving kids...including babies they so badly want to be born. They don't care about tens of millions of people dying around the world. They don't care about teachers losing their jobs or schools being closed. None of it matters to them. They don't care that the people that monitored pandemics and worked to stop them are fired. That the people that oversaw our nuclear stockpiles and safety were fired. They don't care that their personal data is now openly available to people with no authority or clearance to see it. They don't care that law enforcement and intelligence people are all being slashed and will be out of jobs. They don't care that this makes the entire world less safe. They don't care about any place outside of the United States.
The list goes on and on. Prices are rising, and in Trump media's financial statement they specifically wrote they expected prices to rise and inflation to continue to rise during the next 5 years...during his presidency. He does not say that to the public, did not say it when running, but he says it in his own filings. They don't seem to care.
They seem to want Musk to be able to funnel as much money to himself and his rich pals as he can get his filthy hands on, and they are totally willing to pay for it. I've listened to people that know what they are talking about discuss this and there just is nowhere to take $4.5 trillion from to give to the wealthy. You do have to cut everything, literally everything, to get near half of that. You can't get blood from a rock. And why is making people that have grown 600% more wealthy even more wealthy the best thing for a guy like Pat Brown or Marc?
No way in hell one of those guys could explain that.
How do you defend that? How do you say that was a good idea? How do you say you made the right choice? Plastic straws, the Gulf of America, and being told there are two sexes...that is worth all this?
