Hey you YES fans!
Just got back from the record store, or as my wife calls it, audio heroin, and picked up the brand spanking new YES box set! Five discs, and a beautiful 80 page booklet featuring the artwork of my all time favorite artist ROGER DEAN!
Also, this is the most comprehensive YES box ever produced, and features every single incarnation of the band--- YES, YES EAST, the DRAMA BAND, YES WEST, ABWH, YES UNION band, and every single personnel change is represented in its' full sonic glory.
Every track is the full-length version, and no cop-out radio edits anywhere to be found! This also features the CD debut of the YES masterpiece version of Paul Simon's AMERICA. The song seems more moving and appropriate than ever, given the events of the past twelve months.
Also, there is a new limited edition of the 1994 YES WEST disc TALK. It contains an extra bonus track.
Now, I gotta get back to my audio heroin!
"More in the mind
Than the body this feeling
A sense at the end
Of a circular line
That is drawn at an angle
I see when I'm with you
To navigate waters
And finally answer to--- YES!!!!!"
--- Tempus Fugit (1980) Drama
Peace and Prayers Everyone,
