I thought it's a more sensitive way of saying "you could run naked past the FOX News Studios you complete fecking lunatic" or a less cruel way of saying "How many times were you banged over the head with a garbage can?" and since Father Baerwald's 'catchphrase du jour' is about prison, the Catcher in the Rye is one I'm going to keep trotting out at every opportunity.

Whilst I'm not debating your sources or your motives, you always seem a heartbeat away from jumping out of a window and I'd rather you live to see another day than end up being carried away by the men in white coats (This is compassionate Conservatism in action) There have always been people over the last couple of millenia who've been saying the end is nigh and we're all still standing. Even if the sky was going to fall down tomorrow, we can't do anything about it... It sounds almost as futile as posting a message saying "TWO AND TWO STILL EQUALS FOUR... IT'S A FASCIST CONSPIRACY"

Why not follow CS Lewis's example for dealing with a nuclear bomb and ensconce yourself in your local bar with a packet of Doritos and a pint of Theakstons Old Perculiar (it was something like that anyway!) whilst there are many weekend warriors who can talk a good game round here, if they don't like me answering back - they won't have a fucking chance when the Stazi start kicking their doors in.

I never said I was. But then there are people round here who think they're qualified to analyze the political spectrum and most of the time their analysis is as half-assed as my 'jokes' are tedious (to you anyway) As for Bill Hicks, I have all of his albums. Personally I prefer Sam Kinison... it's a shame he can't contribute to these debates.

Anyway...onward and upward,
Richard
