: Another completely asinine analogy . . . if you are trying to be funny your not . . . if you are trying to build a consistent analogy you forgot about the part where the ant gathers by the thousands and systemically enslaves, literally and economically, any and everybody they can and builds an empire on the backs of the grasshopper (you can insert any number of persons here throughout American history: native americans, chinese, africans, filipinos, mexicans just to name a few) and when the grasshopper protests for fair treatment is ridiculed, beaten, and ignored for as long as possible. Save the silly stories for preschool and offer up a solution.

And now of course the grasshopper is going to
hide behind that Smokey story you just dished up
there and never take personal responsibility for
himself. Of course if he can get a group of people
to feel sorry for him (more grasshoppers with hollywood ties) and say he has been mistreated. The more we feel sorry for him the weaker he becomes and eventually he teaches more grasshoppers how to do the same. The solution is
simple get hima a real job and make him work and
pay taxes like the rest of the ants. The ants are
who give the lazy grasshoppers jobs and are ridiculed for doing it.
