>>But intentionally showing up somewhere, deeply >>insulting and cursing everyone here, and then >>bludgeoning us with your ideas is not only a >>dirty strategy, but it's immature and disruptive
My initial comments weren't hollow words thrown out there to piss people off (there are easier ways to do that) I was genuinely angry that some spineless Clintonista fuckwit lawyer would rather play party politics than let the Democrats do what they were elected for. Instead of finding some right-leaning board to rage away on, it's far more interesting to set the cat amongst the pigeons here.
Fact 1) Messers Daschle and Gephardt can lead calls for a responsible investigation and hold Bush's feet to the fire, regardless of what Rove and his cronies say.
Fact 2) Charlie Schummer and Hilly Clinton seem to be doing a good job in getting government money in to rebuild NYC.
Fact 3) The American people have done a good job in donating serious dollars to families in need.
Since this lawyer didn't name any names, it smacks as though families were railroaded into being his trojan horse. If this ever gets to court (which it might) this little prick could jump out screaming "This is for what you did to my President Clinton". (We can get back to this once we deal with the Islamic fundamentalists!)
Before you say "there's America for you" if this news were to break on Al-Jazeera, we can only guess at the kind of political capital the ragheads could make from this kind of lawsuit when they talk to their disciples. If I had the time and money, I'd countersue the gutless MF for aiding and abbeting the enemy.
Let me be clear...my use of 'treason' and 'Unamericanism' are reserved for the hard left. If you're part of the vast majority of those to the left who just have a different slant in solving the current crisis, then you can ignore my accusations. If you're with Cynthia McKinney and Ron Dellums - then you deserve all the abuse you get from me and everyone else. Honest dissent is one thing, but dissent at the cost of America's defeat (as per Saigon) can rightly be called 'treason' or 'Unamericanism'.
Does anyone else remember the Charlie Brown cartoon where Lucy is holding the football and Charlie Brown runs in to kick it? It seems appropriate to mention.
