Damn I missed the show last night. Wish I could
have met a few of the people that came down. His
show this Friday is at a venue that is not as
good as the Steamboat Saxon's Pub is small but
the acoustics are not as good. Sorry to hear I missed Swallowed by the Cracks. That was on his setlist when Wil gave it to me but he did not play it on the set I saw. So about how many folks were out there this time? The first time I went was the 1st week he played at 5:30 and there were 6 people including the sound man and the next time was last week 8:00 show and there were about 12 people. This will not last long especially after the single breaks.

: It was fantastic to be able to see David perform before I head back to the north country. Small crowd, but big appreciation, and well deserved. David and his assembled musos are doing a mighty respectable job with the material. The sets included a few new songs in addition to some choice cuts from DB's fantastic catalog (including, if I was told correctly, the first performance of "Swallowed by the Cracks" at the boat...) Of course, the material was primarily centered on the "black disc" from AFM, which IMHO, is one of the finest discs of music in my collection...

: Was also a pleasure to meet CapZeyeZ - a name I know from another world - can't wait to see your finished product.

: And David - wonderful of you to take time to chat - I look forward to seeing you down the road, whereever that may be - and have "Liberty Lies" ready, won't you? ;)

: -D
