Holy Shit!
I'm pretty new to the internet and all it's advantages, so I'm still blown away by things that most of you see as commonplace.
So forgive my amazement when I can't believe that you all convo with David Baerwald on a regular basis. Sweeeet!!!!
I live in Nova Scotia, Canada, and although things are as modern here as anywhere else in the world, financial restrictions have kept me in the last century(I'm presently working on a hand me down 266mhz IBM). So I haven't had the advantage of the web to keep up to date on music. The last DB album I have is "Bedtime Stories", and between that and "Boomtown", that is all I really know of DB. But it's enough to make him one of my all time favorites!!! I love the mood and feel of both albums. One of my favorite things to do is late at night, go out for a drive in my car , along the coast and listen to those CD's. 'Specially when I can't stand to be part of the rest of this Pop Star society we live in. I find it clears my head of all the pretentious "Hollywood Bullshit" we are bombarded with constantly. I've been doing this with these two CD's for over a decade. Which explains my excitement over finding this web site.
So, once again forgive my ignorance, I'll be sure to read up on DB's activity over the last decade, getting up to date with his music and I look forward to reading all your messages. Oh, David, if you read this, a million thanks for the years of musical solace!!!!
