Good day to all this is my first post!! I beleive that this guy is or was a member of the country alt band the jayhawks!!!
: Yup, you'd be correct on that Coen. He also has more than one record out he's been around quite a while. There are fans of his that post on this board too. He's been discussed here before and David even shared a story about him.

: : : I saw this guy JOE HENRY on the Tonight Show, and bought his CD called SCAR. It is his first one, and it reminded me of the HURLY BURLY music. It has that same vibe.
: : : It is smoky jazz with intelligent lyrics (of course, gotta have those intelligent lyrics!)
: : Correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't he the brother in law of Madonna? I know only one song by him and that's a duet he did with Madonna for the Sweet Relief album. They perform Guilty By Association by Vic Chesnutt. Briljant cover.
