I experience such an aural dissonance when I listen to BS. I return to it often because, from the classic Madonna/Nero line to the closing track, your essence and impassioned nature shine through the gloss. Yet I can almost feel your skin crawling with the corporate AOR influences you must have been navigating at the time. Out of respect for you and the somber times, I won't ask more about what was surely a challenging period. But I wanted to share that I feel the conflicted soul every time I listen to this album.
