I'm with you, EEE. I'm sure there are so many factors to analyze but in review I'm struck by Maya Angelou's sentiments that people forget what you said and did, but remember how you made them feel Sadly, Trump was able to rouse excitement from the crusty woke-phobic, face-spiting nose cutters, and the misogynist zynternet fratboys. As much as I like Harris it was likely a not-so-insignificant warning flare that she couldn't sustain her initial momentum of the 2020 primary campaign. My heart is still with Buttigieg and Warren but if charisma and emotion are the necessary currencies then Shapiro may be the practical choice for 2028.
