Thanks for the link. As I read it, it didn't come off as particularly sarcastic. If James Taylor released the most MORish, radio friendly batch of love songs he'd probably get the same offhand attitude. The fact that they'd even talk at that length over such an album that some papers would either totally ignore or totally shred is a small victory.
Have you heard the album `Exit On Coldharbour Lane` by the Alabama 3? They used a sample that was used on `Triage` (I think it was at the start of `Mao Tse Tung Said`) They tag their sound as `Country Acid House` and the album can sound like the anarchists rendering of `Triage`. If you watch `The Sopranos` they did the theme tune.
Good news on the re-run of AFM, too...
