I too, have been a fan of cover art
for many years.
Hipgnosis, the company that did most
of the Pink Floyd covers and many, many
others too numorous to mention, has always
facinated me.
I have several books on cover art but my favorite
is The Work of Hipgnosis (Walk Away Rene') 1978
(out of print)
The book goes to some length to tell the tales
behind the cover art and the actual development
of the final product.
(Decptive Bends by 10cc was covered in depth)
