>>Richard, do you have as big of a problem with the right >>wing celebrities like Schwartzenegger or Charlton Heston? >>How about Reagan, the actor, becoming a politician? Did >>he EVER know what he was talking about? Wasn't he ALWAYS >>blowing hot air?
Actually, I do have as much of a problem with them as I've got with the Dem-sympathizing actors. But when it comes to musicians, they are different kind of political animal. For example, Streisand annoys me because she's Clinton's sock puppet. Yet Jackson Browne doesn't annoy me (in fact I respect him a lot) he's on very similar turf to David Baerwald, politically, but he's constantly given account for his political and ecological beliefs. He doesn't spend his days sitting on his ass, pretending to feel the pain of the working man and writing memos to poitical parties he has no place addressing.
But in the defence of Arnie, Heston and Reagan (and however much you might dislike them) at least they put their views on the line. They didn't run around with all their right-wing buddies talking the talk and not walking the walk.
>>You're so busy blowing hot air, you can never see past >>your ass to anyone else's point of view.
Feel free to rebut/disprove/disagree with anything and everything I might say. With due respect, just because I don't say `yes` to everything that's posted here doesn't neccesarily mean I'm blowing hot air (I know some might find this idea difficult to comprehend or believe!)
