Nice to see things brewing on the board again. But I'm saddened to see this mean-spirited name calling going on...as our Ex-President's apologists would say *everyone* does it...as I look round the world-leaders I see everyone doing what GW is doing so that makes it alright. Why let facts get in our way!!! (Even if hard facts are presented I'll be skulking right back to the message board of the Oak Ridge Boys) Anyways...all sarcasm aside, I do have a reasonably serious point to make
We've probably all heard about the memo that Babs Streisand sent to high ranking Dems...I have no problem with an opposition party raising questions and opposition as they see fit, but where do the `Limousine Liberals` of the west coast come off trying to act as the principled voice of the party? Who, in mainstream America, (of any political persuasion) wants to hear on network news the latest rantings of Julia Roberts or Alec Baldwin? They won't come forth and defend their position on any network news programme yet they feel pre-eminent to tell the people what to think and (in Streisand's case) how to run a party. When would be the time for those people to `put up or shut up`?
