Hi Folks,
This `commentary` below came from the yahoogroup of an English songwriter called Ian McNabb (and was written by Ian McNabb). I thought it might put a wry smile on the faces of musicians if they've ever got a questionable review. Might you consider to put this on a plaque in the lobby of your Studios, David? (Something to encurage the musos and confound the journos)
Richard
(I like number 4 best!)

"I find it much more interesting when I get a pasting than when I get a rave!"
1) Criticism is not a recognised art form.
2) Bad art lasts longer than a bad review.
3) Those who can, do - those who can't - write about it.
4) Everybody's entitled to their opinion - however wrong they may be.
5) Anyone who thinks Pavement (or Steve bloody Malkmus) are good, is deaf. (adapt as you will)
6) We all enjoy reading rock magazines - somebody has to write them.
7) There is no statue to a critic anywhere in the world.
