David - I was watching The Crossing Guard this weekend and I noticed during the closing credits that you are credited with two songs - Unspoken and Born a Cowboy. Both listings say "courtesy of A&M." Having pretty much zero knowledge of the business side of your music, I must admit to being confused. Are you still with A&M? I read somewhere (maybe right here in this forum) that you wrote Born a Cowboy right on the spot for that scene. If this is true, does A&M _still_ own the rights to that song? And to continue with the question, does A&M own the rights to everything you did pre-AFM? Do you have any desire to get control of your masters (if indeed A&M still own them)?
Also I just want to thank you for granting us fans such a unique forum for questions and debate.
