I'm quite interested in your comments, David. Over here in the UK this album has been getting very mixed reviews. A lot are a bit disparaging. There was quite a high expectations for this album as Radiohead's last album, 'OK Computer', proved to be one of the best of the last decade.
The influence of that album led to the popularity of bands of a similar ilk (namely Travis and Coldplay), all lumped together under the banner of 'introspective bed-sit music'.
Being both a fan of the above bands, as well as your good self, I was wondering if you had heard any of the other Radiohead albums, or the Travis/Coldplay stuff? And if so, what did you think?
Cheers,
Jonathan
